Daredevil Season 4 is one of Marvel Studios' most eagerly awaited Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again.

Following Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio's MCU premieres, Marvel Studios has not made a firm decision about the canonical status of Netflix's Daredevil series.

This topic is more pertinent than ever in light of Marvel Studios' recent decision to revamp its 18-episode television series.

Charlie Cox responded to inquiries about whether the three seasons of Netflix's Daredevil would be carried over into the MCU revival back in September of 2022.

Filming had started in March 2023, but the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes in June caused production to come to a complete stop.

Despite having shot six episodes, the decision was made to axe Born Again's writers and rework the project, going back to the original plan for Season 1 and now linking it to the Netflix series.

Because of this, Daredevil: Born Again seems more fitting for a Season 4 rather than a reboot and more of a revival.

On-set images taken after production commenced in January 2024 have only served to validate D'Onofrio's remarks and "all that history."

Additionally, evidence points to another Marvel Netflix star, Jon Bernthal's Punisher, as perhaps one of Born Again's primary protagonists.

Wilson Bethel's comeback as Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter from Bullseye is also confirmed.
