After initially being hinted in the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 post-credits sequence, Adam Warlock has been a long time coming to the MCU.

And with Poulter expressing a desire to “go on a journey” with his MCU character, Guardians 3 appears to be only the beginning for the Marvel superhero with the golden skin. Fans are eagerly awaiting what the threequel will accomplish for this new extraterrestrial figure, even though this may be the last for the present Guardians squad.

After several hints building up to today, fans can now ogle Adam Warlock’s MCU appearance in all its glory.

Getting to Know Adam Warlock in New Images

The first official full-body shots of Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 were just made public by Empire Magazine.

A god-like suit of armour worn by Will Poulter’s cosmic hero is almost identical to those of Loki or Thor from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Fans of Marvel Comics will remember the character’s vivid crimson cape from the character’s illustrious history in the comics, which complements his radiant gold skin and silver tunic.

There are little cues that go back to the original material, despite the fact that the appearance is not taken directly from the comics page. Aside from the crimson cape, Poulter’s hero sports the diamond implanted in his forehead. The Jewel is still there, albeit it’s not likely to be the Soul Stone like his comic book counterpart.

The skull on the collar and a prominent belt buckle are two further comic book-inspired accents in the ensemble (although the movie one is significantly toned down).

Prior to the MCU Opening, the Warlock’s Costume Shines

Seeing a returning favorite’s new style or a new hero’s outfit in the MCU is always intriguing. Adam Warlock is also not an exception.

The beloved comic book character has been a long time coming; he or she played a significant role in several legendary Marvel tales, including as the first Infinity Gauntlet run.

Finally, viewers may scrutinise each and every facet of Will Poulter’s persona. Although he does not quite like his comic book counterpart, there are enough similarities that this adaption is worthwhile.

This is all in response to rumours that the character’s on-screen appearance would be a substantial divergence from the original material.

Even if Will Poulter’s golden thighs aren’t being flaunted like a prize-winning pumpkin pie, this feels like a fair representation of the character. It has a powerful, godlike appearance, but it still seems very Adam Warlock.

The brilliant red unitard and golden championship belt are not there, but there are homage to practically all of those traditional comic costume components.

When Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 premieres in cinemas on May 5, viewers will see more of Adam Warlock.
