For the first time in live-action, Halle Bailey’s Ariel’s sisters will also be included in Disney’s The Little Mermaid.
Ariel and her sisters, Attina, Alana, Adella, Aquata, Arista, and Andrina, were the seven seas in the 1989 animated film.
A tie-in book for the future live-action adaptation, however, revealed that the sisters’ original names were changed to Karina, Tameka, Mala, Caspia, Perla, and India.
The story of the remake has not yet been revealed, but it is safe to presume that the other daughters of King Triton will play an important role.
