The Largest Marvel LEGO Set Ever Will Arrive in 2023

Later this year, the biggest Marvel-themed LEGO set will be released, and it’s a big one.

LEGO Set

Marvel has received a lot of love from LEGO in recent years.

The business recently unveiled a sizable set that recreated the iconic Hulkbuster from Avengers: Age of Ultron. The 4049-piece creation was a magnificent sight to behold and a prized possession for the majority of collectors.

A piece on the Hulkbuster from Infinity War and the original Quinjet from the first Avengers movie are both expected to be released this year.

This year will also feature one of Marvel’s biggest LEGO sets ever, according to a recent report.

Marvel’s largest LEGO set to date

According to a recent Reddit rumour (originating from user u/itsjustajoe), the largest LEGO set based on Marvel will be released later this year.

Avengers Tower, set number 76269, which will have 5261 pieces, is scheduled to go on sale in November for $525 USD. The tower from Age of Ultron’s tower is said to be represented on the set in the MCU.

This set would break the record for the biggest LEGO set Marvel has ever released with more than 5,000 pieces. The others include

*76210 Hulkbuster – 4,049 pieces

*76178 Daily Bugle – 3,772 pieces

*76042 The SHIELD Helicarrier – *2,996 pieces

*76215 Black Panther – 2,961 pieces

*76218 Sanctum Sanctorum – 2,708 pieces

LEGO’s Preference for Big Sets

The largest Marvel-themed set that the firm has ever produced may be a 5,261-piece set, but there are a few that are larger.

The massive 11,695-piece Lego Art World Map was released in June 2021 by LEGO. The 10,001-part replica of the Eiffel Tower comes in second.

Another property that receives a lot of LEGO love is Star Wars. The Millenium Falcon (7,541 pieces), an AT-AT Walker (6,785 pieces), and The Mandalorian’s Razor Crest are among its largest sets (6,187 pieces).

The possibilities for more Marvel sets that LEGO may produce are countless.

For instance, the business might release a bigger version of Thanos‘ vessel, a reproduction of the time-traveling device from Avengers: Endgame, or a bigger LEGO-fied Darkhold.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, the newest film from Marvel Studios, is currently showing in theatres all across the world.
