Exciting Release Update for Marvel’s Echo Disney+ Show

There have been significant delays for many MCU projects, but rumours suggest Echo may arrive sooner than anticipated.

Echo Disney+ Daredevil Kingpin release

The Hawkeye spin-off starring Alaqua Cox was initially expected to premiere this summer, but that was before reports of production issues and showrunner Marion Dayre’s confirmation of a significant delay by at least six months.

It was then said that Loki, which has no official release date but has been rumoured to arrive in September, will follow Secret Invasion, which is currently scheduled to air in late June, and that Echo will be on Disney+ in early 2024.

When Is the Release of Echo?

Echo may be made available on Disney+ in November 2023, according to Scooper KC Walsh‘s tweet on Friday.

According to Murphy’s Multiverse, the show would “be ready to go this Fall.” “Correct, I just asked about this, this morning, “Walsh retorted.

In addition, Loki will now be released in September, while Ironheart will now be released in 2024, according to Walsh’s source. Walsh concluded by saying that he “[does]n’t expect stuff to stop moving around either.”

If Walsh is right about the timetable in the rumors, the MCU Disney+ slate might end up looking like this:

*Secret Invasion – June 2023 (confirmed)

*Loki (Season 2) – September 2023

*Echo – November 2023

*Ironheart – 2024

According to a suggestion from the head writer Beau DeMayo, the animated X-Men ’97 seems to still be scheduled for this Fall.

Where Agatha: Coven of Chaos would fit into all of this is unclear, and some indications even suggest a delay until 2025.

Alaqua Cox will play the title character in Echo when it finally makes its debut, whether it be in November or at a later date. Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio may also appear as their respective Daredevil roles.

In fact, it appears likely that when the series eventually airs on Disney+, Echo will go up against her figurative father, Kingpin.

What effect will delays have on Echo?

A discussion about superhero fatigue and whether Marvel is taking on too much with its several-show-per-year announcement slates seems unavoidable with the ongoing changing of release dates, years, and even orders.

Marvel on Disney+ had a successful year in 2021 with the release of five series. With the release of Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, as well as two specials, 2022 slowed down a little, but not significantly.

However, no Marvel episodes have appeared on Disney+ as of April 2023. This has increased interest in the programmes debuting this year, but it also seems to have prompted Marvel to reconsider how many shows can actually be released in a calendar year.

Perhaps the excitement and anticipation building after what will be more than six months—more like a year—without Marvel shows will aid Secret Invasion, but will that also apply to Echo? That may be influenced by how well the first received by the audience.

There is no official release date for Echo yet, but Disney+ will be the platform for its debut.
