According to a recent rumour, Season Two of Tom Hiddleston‘s Loki series on Disney+ would feature numerous Variants of Jonathan Majors’ Kang.
The ominous He Who Remains, played by Majors, was first seen in the Loki-focused MCU project, which debuted in 2021. The dubious figure warned the God of Mischief about himself and the effects of the Multiverse being free in the season one finale.
The world is going to get its first peek at what exactly he was referring about with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Scott Lang, played by Paul Rudd, will face up against Kang the Conqueror, a “warrior version” of the He Who Remains.
Before Loki’s second season actually airs, fresh rumours have dropped some interesting new details about what viewers may anticipate from the appearance of the MCU villain.
For Loki, more Kang
According to business insider Daniel Richtman, Jonathan Majors will play a key part in Loki’s second season.
Richtman wrote that “there will be multiple Kang variants in Loki Season Two,” on his Patreon page.
Furthermore, he mentioned a week ago that “Jonathan Majors recently filmed more scenes” for the undertaking:
Jonathan Majors recently filmed more scenes as a variant of Kang for Loki. The season will have more time travel.
The programme will “introduce a new concept called Time Loom:“ Richtman continued, adding another intriguing nugget about the forthcoming season.
Loki season 2 will introduce a new concept called Time Loom, it is the source of the TVA power. They use the energy from the time stream and absorb it.
It’s vital to remember that none of this information has been officially confirmed by either Marvel Studios or Disney, and it is all just a rumour.
Will Loki Witness the True Kang?
It appeared at the conclusion of the first season that Tom Hiddleston’s main character will eventually encounter more He Who Remains’ Variants, much like Thanos himself.
When Majors’ nemesis will appear during the season is the most pressing question. Will it happen frequently during the season, or will viewers need to wait until the season finale?
Also, is there any connection between the second season and Ant-Man: Quantumania?
Hiddleston could get to meet the Kang variant that battled the Ant-Family. But if he does, Scott Lang’s situation is probably not going to get any better.
If the notion of several Kangs is accurate, this will be the first project where fans will witness numerous iterations of Majors’ villain together rather than scattered across other projects. Assuming Marvel Studios is able to make the most use of it, it opens up a tonne of amazing storytelling opportunity.
At some point this summer, Loki’s second season is scheduled to premiere.
