Fans have adored He Who Remains, the new major evil of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ever since his appearance in Loki. Although Josh Brolin’s Thanos will be tough to surpass, Majors is already doing a wonderful job.

Fans will soon be able to view the warrior Variant, as Majors referred to the genuine Kang, in Quantumania. Although the adversary in Loki didn’t seem to be a particularly threatening character, he will be a much greater issue this time.

One thing is constant among all Variants, regardless of which one is ever seen on screen: their control over time itself. However, how precisely does Kang use time the way he does?

A Look at the Time Chair of Kang

Kang, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes

Fans got their first glimpse of Kang the Conqueror’s famous Time Chair in recently leaked official promotional materials for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. This contraption is utilised by the villain to travel across the timestream.

The golden throne is seen behind Kang in the shot, who is dressed in full regalia. Even the padding is purple; the villain is obviously a man of taste.

His time-traveling chair has already appeared in another episode of the adored cartoon programme Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

In the pages of Avengers #8, published in 1963, Kang’s chair made its debut.

In Kang the Conqueror #5, it seems to have made one of its most recent appearances. Though it hasn’t been proven, it appears very clear that the object is Kang’s Time Chair.

The next threequel’s official press release clearly refers to time as “Kang’s hidden weapon.” He probably uses the Time Chair to control the many timelines.

“KANG THE CONQUEROR is quite possible the biggest threat the MCU has ever encounted, with multiple versions of the villain—each more terrifying than the last. Known as He Who Remains in Loki, this new and profoundly dangerous version Kang intends to up his game, triggering a concerted effort from Scott, Hope, Janet, Hank, and Cassie to stop him before it’s too late. Time, it seems, is Kang’s secret weapon, and he intends to use his unique understanding of it to conquer worlds far beyond the Quantum Realm.”

A Time Chair Macguffin, perhaps?

Kang need assistance from the titular hero, played by Paul Rudd in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, according to earlier information. The antagonist of Majors made it clear that “something has been stolen from [him].”

Was Kang’s comfortable chair stolen?

It would make sense in that case, and it also likely explains why the antagonist appears to be trapped in the Quantum Realm. Kang will eventually have his favourite piece of furniture back because he is the main antagonist of the Multiverse Saga. But when he does, what precisely will happen to Scott and his family?

One amusing notion surrounding the chair is that it was taken by Corey Stoll’s MODOK, who may even be using it to support his enormous head. The two thrones don’t appear to be the same when compared to the floating head’s brief appearances in the trailer. However, how much fun would that be?

On February 17, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be seen in cinemas.
