Marvel Studios typically releases a few recap-style episodes of Legends featuring the characters and moments most crucial to the new tale when an upcoming MCU movie or Disney+ series is expected to be released.

It was formally revealed that three episodes of the Disney+ series would be broadcast to get fans up to speed on what they need to know before Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantimania opens in theatres on February 17.

Recently, three brand-new episodes of Marvel Studios: Legends were added to the streaming service’s “Season 2” page. The fact that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was the first movie to air in the MCU’s Phase 5 means that this proves that a brand-new season has begun.

Other Phase 5 MCU projects, like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, will also be included under that banner on Disney+, according to the Season 2 designation.

The three episodes, titled “Ant-Man,” “Wasp,” and “Hank & Janet,” respectively, each centre on one of Ant-Man 3’s primary protagonists. Episode 1 is titled “Ant-Man.” Episode 2 is titled “Wasp.”

The Season 2 episodes of Legends follow the same style as the Season 1 episodes, which told the stories of each featured character. This helps fans get ready for Quantumania’s February 17 theatrical premiere.

The contributions Marvel Studios: Legends makes to the MCU

The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 deleted scene from the Disney+ series is the only new material it has added to the MCU, but it still serves a purpose and has a place in the franchise.

When a film or television series is coming out, fans may forget crucial information because of how huge and intertwined the MCU is. In this situation, Legends is useful.

The episodes take the spectator on a journey through every significant plot point and/or character development that concerns the highlighted title character in only a few minutes.

As these three episodes are a part of Season 2, it is also significant to highlight that Marvel Studios: Legends is formally marking the start of Phase 5. Fans should anticipate that any new episodes that are released after Phase 6 begins will be included in Season 3.

On Disney+, viewers can watch the first three episodes of Season 2 of Marvel Studios: Legends.
