Loki Supporter Favorite Confirms Go back to the Season 2 Crew

One of the actors who portrays Loki on Disney+ has confirmed her return for the upcoming Season 2.

Loki

This summer, Loki will become the first MCU streaming series to receive a second season, making history for the franchise.

As a result, it is difficult to predict who will or won’t return for the show’s second season.

Cast members including Sophia Di Martino (Sylvie), Owen Wilson (Mobius), and Tom Hiddleston (Loki) have already announced that they will return, but crew members are another matter.

Natalie Holt, who composed the music for Season 1 of Loki, announced in a tweet on February 10 that she will also be writing the music for Season 2 of the programme.

The Tweet was the first formal announcement to fans that the Season 1 composer will be back, and it featured a picture of Indian Locki oil, which Holt stated she would “need… to cool [her] mind as [she works] the music for S2″:

“Indian Loki oil, I need some to cool my mind as I write the music for S2.”

Holt quipped that she “could just perform the whole thing on a theremin! Like, solo theremin for the whole soundtrack” in an exclusive interview with The Direct following the conclusion of the first season of the show, though she did admit that “everyone would grow a little bit tired of it.”

In all seriousness, though, she managed to include both aesthetics and feelings into the music she composed for Season 1:

“There’s like a majesty, like a superpower to it. This kind of god, he’s got this kind of… yeah, this super-being that’s in charge of time. I don’t think you can get bigger than that. And there’s a beauty to it as well.”

For Natalie Holt, more Loki!

Fans can continue to be anticipating new developments as Loki Season 2 approaches.

Now that the score is available, it may be added to the increasing list of highly awaited series elements.

The first season was enhanced by Holt’s score, and perhaps that trend will continue in Season 2. Additionally, the music will be able to create cohesiveness across the two seasons and two directors if the tone of the show shifts with the director.

However, with Holt’s revelation, viewers can look forward to evocative, hard-hitting music that will accompany fresh, suspenseful storytelling in Loki’s second season.

The first season of Loki is currently available on Disney+, and the second season will be available in the 2023 summer.
