It’s not the first time that fans have questioned if a third film will be made.

Producer of Wakanda Forever, Nate Moore, has disclosed that they had “floated around” concepts for a third movie. However, it relies on “how audiences receive” the second, which, as of right now, appears to have been rather well.

In response to the question of whether he would return to helm a subsequent chapter, filmmaker Ryan Coogler sneakily responded, “as long as folks will have [him],” adding that he would work on further Wakanda-focused projects.

It’s now time for the Black Panther to preview the upcoming film.

A Black Panther 3 Update

Letitia Wright, the star of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, updated the public on the third instalment of the series when she was on the red carpet for the Golden Globe Awards.

The recently minted superhero herself responded to a question about whether or not fans may anticipate a sequel by saying, “[she] think[s] it’s already in the works:”

“I think it’s already in the works. You know we just had a terrific two years of bringing it out, and just everybody just coming together to support it. We need a little bit of a break. We need to regroup and Ryan [Coogler] needs to get back into the lab. so it’s going to take awhile, but [I’m] really excited for you guys to see that.”

When questioned about whether it was genuinely finalised, Wright stated that she “believes that wonderful words come true,” maybe implying that a subsequent instalment isn’t yet certain:

“I mean, I always try to think positively and speak positively, and I firmly believe that nice words have an impact. So why not? I’m visualising “Black Panther 3.”

However, where does a second Black Panther fit in?

Although a Black Panther 3 seems certain, there doesn’t seem to be much place for the movie on Marvel Studios’ extensive schedule, especially before Avengers: Secret Wars.

It’s already difficult to see how Marvel Studios will fit everything they desire before the upcoming Avengers movies, and a third Black Panther movie could not fit the larger MCU plot. However, if the delays continue, a space can become available.

There’s also the alleged Okoye-focused Disney+ series, which many people now believe is just a Midnight Angels programme. Fans are still waiting for an official Marvel update, since the company has not officially recognised the existence of the show.

Black Panther 3 will eventually be released; it could simply take some time. If the third film isn’t released until after the Multiverse Saga, perhaps it will succeed in include some mutants.

Before Storm departs and formally joins the X-Men, the speculative movie may reveal her to the public.
