How Many Marvel Films Scheduled for 2025 Releases? Disney’s new official release calendar confirms that while 2024 may seem a bit barren, fans won’t have to put up with that for long since next year is looking to be quite the opposite for the company’s super-powered series. Now Four MCU Marvel films are presently scheduled to be released in 2025.

How Many Marvel Films Scheduled for 2025?

Amid MCU Delays, Disney Verifies That Four Marvel Films Are Still Scheduled for 2025 Releases. These are Captain America: Brave New World, Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts, and Blade.

Captain America: Brave New World, The Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts, Blade, Spider-Man 4

Captain America: Brave New World, February 14, 2025

Captain America: Brave New World will be Sam Wilson’s debut Marvel Cinematic Universe feature. Its new date of introduction is February 14, 2025; it was initially scheduled for 2024.

Matthew Norton was recently engaged by Marvel Studios to write new sequences for the movie since the production will be undergoing substantial rewrites and reshoots to make necessary adjustments. It is anticipated that more photography will be done in the upcoming spring or summer.

The movie will follow the transformation of the status quo that was originally shown in Disney+’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, portrayed by Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, the new Captain America. The narrative will also feature the return of Tim Blake Nelson’s Leader and the transformation of Harrison Ford’s Thunderbolt Ross into the Red Hulk.

Fantastic Four may take the place of whatever comes before it if it is postponed, even if the fourth Captain America movie is probably going to stay in February.

May 2, 2025: The Fantastic Four

On May 2, 2025, the much anticipated Fantastic Four MCU revival is finally scheduled to premiere.

Given that the Fantastic Four’s production is proceeding slowly and has already resulted in many delays, another change to the release date would not be shocking.

Should production not begin in the next several months, Thunderbolts’ July release date may be postponed. That may cause things to move forward more slowly, or if one project advances more quickly than the other, Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four might have different release dates.

Not even the confirmation of the principal cast for the plot has been made.

Pedro Pascal, who plays Reed Richards, is the only member of the family who can be considered virtually certain. Joseph Quinn as the Human Torch, Vanessa Kirby as the Invisible Woman, and Ebon Moss-Bacharach as The Thing are the other rumored candidates.

July 25, 2025 – Thunderbolts

Originally scheduled to premiere this summer, the major Marvel Comics superhero/villain team-up Thunderbolts will now open on July 25, 2025.

Thanks to Steven Yeun‘s departure from the movie, Thunderbolts have just gained attention. Previously, the actor was supposed to play Sentry, a brand-new MCU hero.

It’s unknown if Marvel Studios already has a backup choice lined up or if this would ultimately cause the movie to be delayed. It’s also important to remember that Thunderbolts may replace Fantastic Four if it is postponed, assuming production starts as soon as possible.

A few misfits from earlier missions, such as Taskmaster, Red Guardian, Yelena Belova, Winter Soldier, U.S. Agent, Ghost, and Val, will be joining forces for this endeavor.

November 7, 2025: Blade

Blade, which is presently scheduled for release on November 7, 2025, has been something else completely. Some people believe that the creation of the Fantastic Four has been difficult.

Production on the project has not started even after it was initially unveiled at SDCC in 2019. That is less than five years later. Marvel Studios’ announcement that they were undertaking a radical overhaul of their work on the movie, which included replacing the previous director with a new one, caused quite a stir.

Other than the fact that Mahershala Ali will play the movie’s lead role—at least for the time being—nothing about the narrative is known at this moment.

Fans shouldn’t be shocked if development on this one is once again delayed, given the way it’s been going. But others are beginning to question when Marvel Studios will give up and move their attention to another project.

Spider-Man 4: A Potential Fifth?

Although it’s not a full-length Disney production, a lot of people have speculated that Spider-Man 4 will be the release date of an unnamed Marvel movie from Sony Pictures on June 25, 2025.

The New York Times was previously informed by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige that the company is “actively beginning to develop where the story heads next.” Tom Holland, who has stated on record that he is “excited about it” and that the sequel is “looking pretty good,” is anticipated to make a comeback.

The specifics of the plot are yet unknown, although rumors and conjecture suggest that Charlie Cox‘s Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin will be included. In addition, a lot of fans wish for Scorpion to eventually assume the lead. The MCU may even include the Symbiote outfit.

Fans will have a slew of MCU Disney+ series to look forward to in addition to all these films. Ironheart, Wonder Man, and Daredevil: Born Again are a few potential opponents.

What Marvel movies are coming in 2025?

The initial plan was for Marvel Studio’s MCU film “Thunderbolts” to be out this summer. Its official launch date is currently July 25, 2025. After Steven Yeun withdrew from the major superhero team-up MCU picture, it made headlines.
