Halle Berry’s new photo ignites X-Men return rumours.

Halle Berry, a former X-Men star, might have hinted at her return to the project with a recent selfie she shared on social media.

Deadpool 3 won’t be the MCU’s first mutant-focused film for at least a year, although a few legacy characters already in the MCU made an appearance in other MCU films.

With his alternate portrayal of Pietro Maximoff in WandaVision, Evan Peters introduced the entire Multiverse Saga and prepared the way for Patrick Stewart’s eagerly awaited return as Professor X in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

With rumours suggesting that the studio wants as many X-Men stars to return for the greatest Marvel crossover event yet, Marvel is also apparently planning to promote prior X-Men stars on a new level in Avengers: Secret Wars.

Thanks to a fresh image she shared on Twitter, former Storm actress Halle Berry stirred rumours about a probable return to her X-Men role.

Berry, who is seen in a candid photo looking into the camera while holding her cat in one arm, has a coating of white hair.

Although it doesn’t quite resemble the hairdo she had as Ororo Munroe in four different X-Men films, the colour resemblance is too important to ignore.

Twitter users who were eager to see Berry make her MCU debut as the weather-based mutant discussed this image.

In a GIF, @potentalMother pointed out that Berry posted this picture just days after Deadpool 3’s formal production got underway:

@thedanholo, who is certain Berry will appear in the Deadpool 3 sequel, questioned whether anyone would bring up Berry’s hairstyle:

“Ummm, nobody gonna talk about the hair? She has a cameo in Deadpool 3 doesn’t she???”

Berry’s white hair was linked to the start of filming for Deadpool 3, and @mattoska expressed enthusiasm over Berry’s Storm possibly appearing in the MCU:

“Her hair is white!!!!! Deadpool 3 started filming today. I can’t wait to see Storm again.”

@elicatweets asked if Berry’s photo was a “Catwoman 2 tease” rather than for her X-Men part, going in a new direction for the superhero movie.

What about Halle Berry’s X-Men role?

All bets are off as to who else might possibly return to reprise their mutant roles from previous films now that Hugh Jackman has been officially confirmed to appear in the MCU as Wolverine in Deadpool 3.

Halle Berry hasn’t commented on whether she’s interested in returning to the franchise, so these photos don’t necessarily represent any type of confirmation that she’ll play Storm in the MCU.

Some rumours suggested that Deadpool 3 might use the Multiverse to bring previous Fox franchises back to life, making it the first Marvel Studios picture to make extensive use of the Multiverse.

There is currently no way to predict which former X-Men actors will appear in this threequel, especially given how many actors have been approached about joining the MCU ever since the X-Men were placed under Marvel’s control.

when for Berry, her new hairstyle just makes a possible comeback more likely when the mutants ultimately coexist alongside Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

On November 8, 2024, Deadpool 3 will make its theatrical debut.
