Before the Daredevil reboot, Charlie Cox’s NEXT MAJOR Marvel Role will be revealed.

Before Daredevil: Born Again, a new Disney+ series is reportedly going to have prominent appearances from Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio.

Both performers have already been in Marvel Studios films in recent years: D’Onofrio in Hawkeye and Cox in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

At San Diego Comic-Con in July 2022, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said that Daredevil: Born Again would have a record-breaking 18 episodes.

Both actors were previewed in the trailer for Disney+’s Echo, so they won’t be making their next appearance on that programme. Nevertheless, it appears that both actors will play more significant roles in that series than originally anticipated.

Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox To Appear in Echo

Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will appear in the upcoming Echo series on Disney+, according to a recent report from The Hollywood Reporter.

The source added that their presence in Echo will set up the events that will take place in the Daredevil series. This series will be broadcast on the streaming service prior to Daredevil: Born Again.

The two actors were also specifically mentioned as having “important” parts in Echo, which implies that they will probably appear in several episodes and be integral to the storyline of the show.

Both were previously spotted in the exclusive San Diego Comic-Con release of the Echo video from last year.

A reunion for a Netflix series?

The “key” roles Cox and D’Onofrio play in Echo suggest that the series will operate as somewhat of a reunion for the stars who appeared in the Netflix series.

According to earlier rumours, one of the plotlines in Echo will include Cox’s Murdock looking for Jessica Jones, a former ally.

If those rumours and other rumours are accurate, Krysten Ritter might make her first appearance as Jessica Jones since her work on Netflix’s Marvel programmes in Echo.

Another Netflix programme character to be introduced to the franchise is The Punisher, who will be played once again by Jon Bernthal in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Born Again.

To be clear, Bernthal is currently only scheduled to appear in Born Again and not in Echo.

Daredevil: Born Again is expected to premiere on Disney+ sometime after Echo, which is expected to debut on the streaming service in early 2024.
