Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Deleted Scenes: See All 3

Although Danai Gurira’s Okoye was a significant part of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the sequel’s three deleted sequences featuring her would’ve given her even more of a spotlight.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

After her pivotal performance in Black Panther 2, Okoye is expected to play a bigger part in the MCU. In the movie, the character was stripped of the role of Dora Milaje’s leader, leading to her transition into a Midnight Angel.

A list of unspoken exchanges and an emotional conclusion to Okoye’s narrative have surfaced online as she prepares to embark on an exciting future.

Wakanda Forever: Okoye’s Reduced Part in Black Panther

1.) “Outside The Scope”

Okoye, Ayo

Okoye tries to go against Queen Ramonda’s instructions in this deleted scene to find Shuri, but Ayo and the Dora Milaje ultimately stop her, setting for an emotional encounter:

2.) “Daughter of the Border”

Okoye, Black Panther 2

As Okoye’s uncle, Danny Sapani urges his niece to run for the throne as a member of the Border tribe. Shuri is still in danger, thus the former Dora Milaje leader is torn about accepting the offer:

3.) “Anytime, Anywhere”

Danai Gurira as Okoye, Black Panther 2

In this never-before-seen scene from Black Panther 2, Okoye and Shuri shared a touching moment in which the former informed the latter that she will not be joining the Dora Milaje again.

“Wherever [her] new space suit takes [her], Okoye says in a teaser for her Disney+ spin-off, “is what comes next for her.”

Why Were Some of Okoye’s Greatest Moments Removed by Marvel?

It’s terrible that Marvel Studios put some of Okoye’s crucial sequences on the cutting room floor for Black Panther 2.

It’s unclear whether the sequences were cut because of the sequel’s length or because they were intended to serve as flashbacks in the character’s Disney+ series.

Even so, by seeing them now, people can learn about Okoye’s hardships and development since losing her position as the leader of the Dora Milaje.

In reality, given that she is not constrained by Wakandan regulations, the deleted conclusion from Black Panther 2 gave Okoye a lot of fascinating new chances.

Okoye has repeatedly shown that she can hold her own against powerful foes, leading to exciting adventures that could further her development before Black Panther 3. Although seeing her as a Midnight Angel might cause some trouble for outside forces, she has repeatedly shown that she can hold her own against formidable foes.

Disney+ now has Black Panther: Wakanda Forever available for viewing.
