When Dominique Thorne made her eagerly anticipated debut in 2022’s Black Panther 2, Ironheart is swiftly moving up the list of fans’ most eagerly anticipated future MCU projects. Even while the new series’ 2023 premiere date was just recently established, there is some concern brewing in the background that this date may not be set in stone.
Disney is reportedly planning to revamp its release methodology going forward after Phase 4 offered the largest round of new content in the MCU’s history in terms of quantity.

In order for Disney+ to receive the desired watching figures for each of their high-budget releases, it is important that these shows be of a sufficient calibre.
The Ironheart Delay: Will it Lead to Higher Quality?
Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is perhaps the Phase that caused the most disagreement among fans and critics, with universal successes like Spider-Man: No Way Home and other films like Eternals and Thor: Love and Thunder bringing lots of disappointment.
Ironheart’s delays may not come as a major surprise, and that may not be the first series to have this problem as fear grows that Phase 5 is beginning to elicit similar responses. In the end, fans prefer quality MCU content to a deluge of it quickly, so it stands to reason that Disney will do all in its ability to give Ironheart and other shows the chance they merit to be successful.
Thorne’s initial attempts from Black Panther 2 on Disney+ are being watched by fans as the first video for Ironheart just recently made its premiere at the 2022 D23 Fan Expo. However, the series’ postponement should give Marvel all the time it needs to ensure that the character’s suit and technological advancements look top-notch, since some fans were not entirely pleased with how the character appeared on her premiere, particularly in terms of the CGI.
