With Phase 4 of the MCU officially coming to a conclusion, Black Panther 2 is almost set to make its streaming debut after smashing the record for the highest-grossing female-led superhero movie in history.

Fans first learnt that Black Panther 2 would eventually premiere on Disney+ at the beginning of February just after the new year, breaking the previous MCU record for the longest gap between theatrical release and streaming release.

And now, it’s time to forecast precisely when on that date the newest MCU blockbuster will join so many of its contemporaries.

On Wednesday, February 1, at 3:00 am ET (12:00 am PT), the same time that all of the original Star Wars and Marvel material typically goes on sale, Black Panther 2 will be accessible on Disney’s streaming platform.

But it won’t end there. The next week, Disney+ will make available Black Panther 2’s individual Marvel Studios: assembled on February 8th, one week later.

A documentary series titled Voices Rising: The Music of Wakanda Forever on Disney+ will premiere on February 22 to celebrate the sequel two weeks later. The movie’s soundtrack will be highlighted in this, which will be the first MCU film to get its own comprehensive documentary series.

How many subscribers to Disney+ will Black Panther 2 attract?

Black Panther 2 comfortably outperformed Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in terms of box office take while performing better with reviewers than both the Doctor Strange sequel and Thor: Love and Thunder. It was also the most well-liked MCU film of 2022. And with Black History Month occurring at the same time as Wakanda Forever, fans should see the film frequently given the intense emotions that are there in it as the MCU mourns the loss of Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa.

With Phase 4 of the MCU officially ended and Phase 5 due to begin in 2023, this release will also enable fans to see every single film that has been released in the series to date again.

This fact alone should attract a sizable audience to Disney+ to see all 30 films that comprise the MCU saga up to this point. With Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum of Solace only a few weeks away, early February will probably see the greatest influx of viewers to Disney+ for a complete catch-up.

On Wednesday, February 1, Disney+ will start streaming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
