New rumours claim that Josh Gad, who played Kristoff in the movie Frozen, will soon work on a project for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The fact that he played Olaf in both Frozen and Frozen II probably helped him get a lot of notoriety. However, he’s appeared in much more films, such as Avenue 5, Central Park, Little Monsters, and others.
It was just a matter of time until the actor’s skills were employed by Marvel Studios in some form, given his popularity.
The MCU welcomes Josh Gad
Actor Josh Gad will reportedly appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to industry insider Jeffery Sneider, who was speaking on the Hot Mic podcast.
The in question project would be the just started filming Wonder Man Disney+ series from Marvel Studios.
There was no more information provided. Regarding the rumour, Marvel made no remarks.
Gad Acquires Wonder Man
Making an educated guess about who Gad might be playing is difficult because little is known about the new Disney+ series’ storyline.
Josh Gad playing himself wouldn’t be surprising given that Wonder Man is intended to be somewhat critical in its view of Hollywood. If it occurs, he’ll probably be one of several famous people who make a similar cameo.
This would also make sense given how well-versed the actor is in comedy roles; it would be a natural fit.
Gad will be working alongside Yahya Adbul-Mateen II, who will serve as the series’ protagonist and star as Simon Williams. Additionally, Demetrius Grosse is reportedly joining the cast as the evil Grim Reaper, and Ben Kingsley will be making a comeback as Trevor Slattery.
Although a release date for Wonder Man is not yet known, fans can anticipate it to arrive in late 2024 or early 2025.
