Fans have been eager to learn who Bill Murray would be portraying in the MCU threequel ever since the first rumours of his involvement in the film surfaced. Nothing regarding his Quantumania role has been confirmed, but it has been implied that it would play a “crucial” role in the Marvel Studios epic.

The most recent reports about the actor suggest that he would portray the obscure Marvel Comics character Krylar, albeit that is still just conjecture at this moment.

But now that Quantumania is approaching, it’s time to reveal who Bill Murray is portraying in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The most recent press release for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania finally unveiled Bill Murray’s part in the movie.

According to the most recent marketing campaign, Murray will portray Lord Krylar in Ant-Man 3.

Krylar was referred to in the press release as the “governor of Axia,” which was defined as a “bizarre and cushy community within the Quantum Realm.” It appears that “he and Janet [Van Dyne] are old acquaintances” despite the fact that they have not yet appeared in a Marvel Studios production.

Lord Krylar: Who is he?

Many people who read this news will wonder, “Who is Lord Krylar?” And they have every reason to believe that.

Krylar only made one comic book appearance, as noted on the official Marvel Comics website, showing up in the July 1972 issue of the Incredible Hulk.

The persona, who works as an armaments dealer, is shown as residing on the planet K’ai in the subatomic universe known as the Microverse. This really sounds very similar to a certain Quantum Realm that will be the subject of Marvel’s newest blockbuster starring Paul Rudd.

The Microversal armaments merchant dies in a single issue after being wounded by the evil Pitll Pawob while attempting to test a hazardous weapon on the Hulk.

There are some aspects in Murray’s persona that (at least initially) won’t have anything to do with Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/Hulk, but they probably came from his brief run in Marvel Comics.

Murray’s Lord Krylar is described in the Quantumania character profile as “enjoys the high life,” which most likely means that in addition to his responsibilities as the governor of Axia, he may also operate as an armaments dealer within the Quantum Realm.

On February 17, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be seen in cinemas.
