After Bernthal’s return to Marvel as Frank Castle was confirmed, the Daredevil cast is reuniting for Disney+’s Daredevil relaunch. For another gritty journey, The Walking Dead actor teams up with fellow Marvel Netflix veterans Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk).
After numerous reports regarding his return in the next remake, the actor will reprise his role as the Punisher.

Several celebrities came out in support of actor Jon Bernthal after he posted a picture of the Punisher on Instagram to mark his comeback as the MCU villain in Daredevil: Born Again.
In honour of Bernthal’s return, Krysten Ritter, who played Jessica Jones in Marvel’s The Defenders, posted three fire emojis:
Although it is unknown if Ritter will appear with Bernthal in Daredevil: Born Again, the actress did fuel rumours of her return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe by posting a photo of herself online wearing a Daredevil t-shirt.
Ben Barnes, who portrayed Billy Russo, aka Jigsaw, in The Punisher, expressed his excitement for fellow Marvel actor Jon Bernthal in the comments section of the photograph of The Punisher:

Michael Gandolfini, who played an unnamed character in Daredevil: Born Again, is ecstatic about Bernthal’s participation as well:

Which Marvel Actors Will Star in Disney+’s Daredevil with Jon Bernthal?
Given the significance and popularity of Frank Castle, it is not unexpected that Jon Bernthal’s other Marvel actors are happy about his comeback in Daredevil: Born Again.
It’s unclear how Bernthal’s Punisher will fit into the upcoming relaunch, but given the historically long 18 episodes of the programme, it’s safe to believe that his visit will be more than a cameo.
After Bernthal’s confirmed participation, the cast of Daredevil: Born Again is expanding, causing fans to speculate about if more actors from Marvel’s Netflix series will join him.
Along with Krysten Ritter’s hint at her prospective Jessica Jones homecoming, Luke Cage actor Mike Colter released pictures of himself with the Marvel actress, which fueled rumours about his future comeback.
Although Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson are reportedly absent from the planned reboot, Bernthal’s return and the suspected reappearances of other Marvel characters from the Netflix series may allay the concerns of certain fans.
Disney+ will debut Daredevil: Born Again in the spring of 2024.
