This was the start of an Easter egg that would soon get more developed at the moment. In the comics, Mr. Gryphon, a businessman-like Kang Variant imprisoned in the twenty-first century, attempts to establish a “New Qeng Dynasty” by purchasing Avengers Tower from Tony Stark.
This outward manifestation of Gryphon appears to be confirmation that this Kang acquired Avengers Tower from a timeline-plucked Tony Stark. This is why the building appeared to be in disrepair inside the Void.
Mr. Gryphon might make further appearances within the MCU given that the Sacred Timeline is no longer being protected and that timelines are branching out and further intrusions are inevitable.
