For Spider-Man 2, on the PS5, Insomniac Games could be preparing a brand-new story-based DLC.

October saw the exclusive PS5 release of Spider-Man 2, after the 2018 release of the first game and the 2020 release of the Miles Morales spin-off.

On Thursday, March 7, Spider-Man 2 received its largest post-launch release, along with new outfits, improvements, and some highly awaited features.

The update also included the option to modify the color of Peter's symbiote powers and several designs for his tale outfits.

In addition, Insomniac sent Miles and Peter new clothes, which included Marvel's Hellfire Gala outfits that drew inspiration from Marvel Comics.

This was accompanied by changes to the photo mode, bug fixes, and the option to modify the time of day once the tale was finished. Since Spider-Man 2's debut in October, this DLC was the first to be released.

After the game's initial PS4 debut in early September 2018, the chapters were published every month in late October, November, and December 2018.

Because of this, the wait for new story DLC has been far longer than it was for Spider-Man 2, which was launched more than four months ago.

Although Insomniac has not yet formally revealed any new Spider-Man 2 storylines.

According to a significant leak from December 2023, which caused millions of data to appear online, three DLC releases are in the works.
