Chris Hemsworth, who starred in Thor: Love and Thunder, deftly responded to Kang the Conqueror’s audacious assertion in a recent tweet.
With Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Majors’ major antagonist has officially started working for Marvel Studios.
Technically speaking, He Who Remains was the character’s first appearance in Loki. The “warrior version” of Kang, as Majors referred to him, will eventually be introduced to viewers in the future movie.
The Multiverse Saga’s new bad guy will eventually evolve into the MCU‘s new Thanos, maintaining a “ongoing presence.” This implies that he will eventually encounter more than one Avenger.
Fortunately, the God of Thunder is prepared.
Kang puts Thor Odinson in danger.
Chris Hemsworth, who plays Kang the Conqueror in the film Thor, expressed his feelings about Kang the Conqueror speaking down to his hero on Twitter.
In a scene from Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Kang asks Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man if he’s the Avenger with the hammer, a person the antagonist had previously killed:
“You’re an Avenger… Have I killed you before? They all blur together after a while. You’re not the one with the hammer?”
He’s never fought me twice, Chris Hemsworth’s Avenger quips in a smartly shared clip from Avengers: Infinity War.
When asked by Nerdbunker before who he would want to see Kang square off against, Majors immediately named Hemsworth’s Avenger:
“I think we have to start with Thor… Bring it… I’m not afraid of Chris Hemsworth.”
Will Thor Be Making a Comeback to the MCU?
Even while a fight between Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Kang may be thrilling, it’s probably best that Avengers: The Kang Dynasty doesn’t begin with that particular fight because it might feel a little too similar to Infinity War.
The real question, though, is whether Chris Hemsworth’s Thor will ever return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It seems probable. Thor would get a much better send-off than simply disappearing without a trace as he is an original Avenger.
Hercules, who has been ordered to kill Thor, is another issue.
If Hemsworth does return, the actor feels that Marvel Studios should “probably… close the book” on his persona.
Enjoy his most recent adventure, Thor: Love and Thunder, which is currently streaming on Disney+, until that day arrives.
