One of the most important issues surrounding Disney+’s Secret Invasion is which Avengers or MCU heroes in general will be participating.
In the comics, the initial incident eventually involves the majority of well-known characters and consumes the whole Marvel Universe. Naturally, that won’t take place here.
Instead, a more intimate scale and a Winter Soldier vibe will be used in the show’s development. The narrative will centre on established MCU figures like Nick Fury, James Rhodes, and Talos as well as fresh faces like Emilia Clarke’s mystery character.
Some fans are anticipating a few heavy hitters to cross over for at least an appearance in Disney+’s Secret Invasion as it is described as a “crossover event series.” So who would be most likely to appear if an Avenger did so?
Sam Wilson is one potential possibility.
1.Sam Wilson’s portrayal of Captain America
The hero had finally accepted the shield Steve Rogers, played by Chris Evans, had given him by the time The Falcon and the Winter Soldier came to a conclusion. Additionally, the hero did an excellent job of introducing himself to the world as the new Captain America.
Whoever wears that mantle will (or should) almost definitely become involved in those significant international wars.
The writers would need to make sure that this doesn’t negatively impact the character’s experience on Disney+ in the past, but this character is also simple to momentarily transform into a Skrull to yank the rug out from under everyone.
2.Spectrum/Monica Rambeau
Monica Rambeau is the most probable candidate out of those on this list. At the conclusion of WandaVision, a Skrull hired her for an unknown reason.
She might have been sought for by Nick Fury or Talos, having been dispatched by a “he.” Given that both of those characters play a significant role in Secret Invasion, Monica could appear in the future Disney+ series.
She may not yet be an Avenger, but that will most likely change in the near future.
3.Wong, the Supreme Sorcerer
The magic user of Benedict Wong has appeared everywhere. Why not add another appearance to the roster, which already includes Shang-Chi, She-Hulk, and of course, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness?
Even while the Skrull aren’t nearly a mythical menace, Wong might easily enter the picture if they do start to become a global issue.
Additionally, because people like Rhodey, Nick Fury, and Maria Hill don’t actually know him, a Skrull might easily imitate him without anybody noticing.
4.Original Avenger Hawkeye
Clint Barton has made several attempts to retire, all of which have ultimately failed, most recently with Hawkeye. So why not disrupt his quiet existence one more?
The former Avenger may join the team if his prior work at SHIELD comes to light. Hawkeye should not be a Skrull, though, as that would be very similar to the period he spent in Avengers under the actor’s mind control, which he did not enjoy at all.
By extension, Kate Bishop’s hero could be able to join Barton as a result of his role in Secret Invasion.
5.The Wakandans
The Wakandans can be a fantastic narrative device when it comes to global conflicts. It just depends on who will enter the game.
Shuri’s Black Panther is unlikely to participate because, towards the end of Wakanda Forever, she looked to be doing some introspection of her own.
Instead, someone like Okoye or M’Baku may show out to speak on behalf of their developed country. Ayo would also be an excellent candidate to become involved given that she appeared in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
6.The Winter Soldier Bucky Barnes
Although Bucky Barnes is largely over his days of becoming a global incident, whatever Skrull plan they are hatching could tempt him back.
The protagonist may even team up with Sam Wilson so that Secret Invasion can keep examining their fun relationship. The underlying issue is whether it would be preferable to maintain him as the genuine Bucky or as a secret Skrull intruder.
It would be unfortunate to have that progress reversed because his path has brought him to the point where he views himself as a hero.
7.Captain Marvel
Brie Larson’s star power—almost she’s definitely not inexpensive to acquire in front of the camera—is the main factor preventing Brie Larson’s hero from being more likely to appear.
But because of her friendship with Talos and Nick Fury, she is a natural choice for any potential cameos, especially if Monica does show up.
The Marvels, the year’s biggest movie, might even be set up in part by the television series.
Who Will Fill Out the Secret Invasion Cast?
Almost no significant cameos have been revealed for Secret Invasion so far, other from Rhodey himself. It’s difficult to think that there aren’t any surprises in store for viewers given the premise of the programme and its original comic series.
The show should make use of as much of the MCU as it can, even if it will never be able to equal the scope of the comics.
Which Avengers are most likely to appear? Sam Wilson and potential teammate Spectrum have the best chances of doing so.
The possibility that Secret Invasion and The Marvels have more in common than viewers think increases the likelihood that Monica Rambeau may appear. The two projects had the same reshoot times and were shot almost next to one another.
The premiere date of Samuel L. Jackson‘s programme is currently unknown, however it will air on Disney+ in the spring of 2023.
